Order of Play
Tabletennis, Badminton, Squash, Tennis
Counting
In the order Tabletennis, Badminton, Squash and Tennis one set each is played first to 21 points running score. At 20:20 the set is continued until one player reaches a margin of two points difference. The winner of the Racketlon match is the player with most points in total after the four sets. Is the total amount of points exactly equal, one decisive point in Gummiarm-Tennis is played. Lots are drawn, the winner choses to serve or return, the loser choses the sides. The server has no second service.
Serving
Lots are drawn at the beginning of the Racketlon match. The winner can choose between service, return or the side. The player serving in Tabletennis will also serve in Squash, the player serving in Badminton will also serve in Tennis. The receiver may always chose the side. The server has two serves in a row and starts to serve from right to left (except Tabletennis). Following the server switches sides after each serve, thus is the total score even he serves from right to left, is the score uneven from left to right. At 20:20 each player only has one serve, starting from right to left, at 21:21 he serves from left to right and so on.
Time regulations
In order to keep to the time schedule no more than 2,5 minutes can be allowed to warm up with the opponent before each set. After having finished one set players most be on court of the next sport after latest 2,5 minutes if the court is available. Each player can ask for one injury time out of 3 minutes per Racketlon match. If any of these time regulations are violated a player can be warned and later disqualified. Such decisions can only taken by the head-referees or the supreme referee.
Referees
Head-Referees will be on site for the Elite matches. In matches without referees each player makes decisions on his side of the court. These decisions stand and cannot be overruled, in cases of controversy a player can ask for a referee before continuing the match. If any of the players ask for a referee the head-referees will appoint one. All players not on court have agreed to take the role of a referee for at least one sport, by entering the tournament. Decisions made by referees during a match cannot be questioned or overruled, disqualifications though can only be made by the supreme referee. There will be referees for all main draw women’s and men’s elite and all other matches played on the centre courts.
